6. Retention

Data is retained only for the time necessary for the purposes described, including longer periods required for legal, tax, accounting, administrative or dispute-related reasons. Contractual and accounting records may be retained for up to 10 years where required by Italian law.

7. Customer feedback and service-quality surveys

Housing in Padova may invite existing tenants to complete optional service-quality surveys concerning matters such as staff assistance, response times, accommodation information, viewings, contracts and administrative documents. Survey participation is voluntary and is not a condition of the tenancy or of access to tenant services.

Survey responses are linked internally to the tenant profile so that Housing in Padova can understand the service context, investigate problems and improve its processes. Responses and free-text comments are accessible only to authorized personnel and are not published automatically.

The legal basis may include performance of the service and the Controller's legitimate interest in service quality and customer care, with consent used where required by applicable electronic- communications rules. Feedback data is retained only for the period reasonably necessary for service-quality analysis, complaint handling and the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, after which it may be deleted or anonymized.

After submitting feedback, users may be offered the same optional link to leave a genuine Google review regardless of the score given in the internal survey. If the user opens Google through our internal review link, Housing in Padova may record that the link was opened. Housing in Padova does not receive reliable confirmation from Google that a particular tenant actually published a review.

8. WhatsApp service-message preferences

WhatsApp service messages are enabled only after an active choice by the user. The user is informed of the categories of messages covered by that choice, which may include tenant-account updates, important document notifications, service communications and feedback requests. This service-message preference does not authorize advertising or promotional messages.

Housing in Padova records the status, date, source and version of the WhatsApp service-message preference in order to apply the user's choice and demonstrate it where necessary. The preference is associated with the relevant tenant account and phone number. If the phone number changes, a new choice may be required.

The user may withdraw this preference at any time through the dedicated WhatsApp settings link, by sending STOP or an equivalent opt-out request to the Housing in Padova WhatsApp service, or by contacting the Data Controller. Withdrawal does not affect processing lawfully carried out before the withdrawal.

9. User rights

The user may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent where applicable by contacting Info.consimmobiliari@gmail.com.

10. Complaint

The user may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or another competent EU supervisory authority.

11. Security

The Controller adopts technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, alteration or unlawful disclosure.
